Subjects on Pure and Applied Sciences consist of common fundamental subjects in the graduate school, fundamental subjects, and special subjects. Requirements for the master’s degree are to earn a total of 30 credits or more based on the criteria of the major course and to pass the review of one’s master’s thesis and the final test. For foreign students, Science in Japan I (in English) can be replaced with Colloquium on Pure and Applied Sciences, and Science in Japan II (in English), or Introduction to Material Physics (in English) can be replaced with Physics Seminar.
